About Us and the Project

The Material Pathway deck of cards sets out from the experience of the Sustainable Design Cards (2017). Where the Sustainable Design Cards are centred on working with a broad range of approaches to sustainability in design, Material Pathways aims to support understanding and reflection on materials in design overall, as a response to our planetary crisis and how this links to material resources.
As with the Sustainable Design Cards, the background for the deck is a high level of experience with method cards introduced in the curriculum at Design School Kolding.
